▼ A region where Samurai have existed for over 1000 years
Since the 10th century, the Minamoto family and Taira family clans, who emerged as samurai, have formed Japan's warrior clans. In 1030, the base of the samurai clans was located in Kai Province (present-day/ Yamanashi Prefecture) for the reign of the East by Minamoto family. After this, they produced a famous general named Shingen Takeda, who was feared as the strongest warrior clan.
In 1582, the Takeda family was destroyed. The new ruler of Kai Province was Ieyasu Tokugawa, who later established the Edo shogunate. Takeda's vassals were taken under the command of Tokugawa Ieyasu and started on a new path. A group of warriors called the "Hachioji Senin Doshin" was formed with the two statuses of farmer and samurai. This group of warriors would quit farming and fight whenever the shogun gave the order.
In 1853, the time came for Japan to be targeted as a colonial policy by foreign countries. For about 20 years, there was turmoil in the country, and wars broke out within the country. Terrorism breaks out in Kyoto, and the "Shin-Sen-Gumi" warrior group is there to stop it. In 1868, the new government disbanded the "Hachioji Senin Doshin" and replaced swords with farming tools, thus contributing to the development of Japan.
We teach karate in an area where these samurai have existed for over 1,000 years. We provide a place where you can learn Japanese culture, Japanese martial arts, and karate-do.

▼YOSHIN-KAN(Karate, Kickboxing, Aikijujutsu)
YOSHIN-KAN was established in 2000 as an independent organization from the Shin-Karate class, kickboxing team and Tama branch of Nozaki-Kaikan, a Shotokan style real combat karate school. Currently, YOSHIN-KAN has its main dojo in Seigaoka, Tama City, Tokyo, and dojos in Seiseki Sakuragaoka, Nagayama, Kaidori, Karakida, and other locations.
Based on karate striking techniques, we have established a unique fighting technique that combines "traditional martial arts" and "modern martial arts" by incorporating kobudo and aikijujutsu body techniques. Aiming to specialize in the strongest striking techniques, "Jyoshinkan New Martial Arts" innovates daily by incorporating Nippon Kempo, boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai fighting techniques based on karate techniques.
Our representative is a researcher of Japanese history and is licensed to teach Japanese and world history in junior high and high schools. Therefore, we would like to teach the interesting aspects of Japanese history and the martial arts that were born there.
