Jūjutsu ・ Karate ・ Kenpō ―
three systems, becoming one within the body of the Sōke.
This is Yoshinkan-ryū Jūjutsu-Karate-Kenpō, the technique transmitted as the modern Otome-ryū.
Yoshinkan-ryū Jūjutsu-Karate-Kenpō is the name of three independent systems integrated.
Each system exists on its own ― and they become one.
Old-style jūjutsu · aiki · Daitō-ryū. Off-balancing, entry, joint locks, throws.
The orthodox of Okano-ha. Kata, basics, etiquette, the root that lives in real combat.
Nihon Kenpō · kickboxing. Striking proven in the ring.
Real combat at Yoshinkan is ―
the embodied knowing that moves correctly when it is needed.
The moment to defend oneself, to protect one's family, to fulfil responsibility ―
the "now" that lies on the continuum of ordinary life,
the moment when the body must move ― without hesitation, with precision.
That is real combat, understood as budō.
You know the system. The final chapter — for whom is Otome-ryū, and for what?
And how should one visit this gate?
