Yoshinkan Honke is a modern Otome-ryū ― a private and discreet Japanese budo program for adults who carry responsibility in business, family, and society. From the lineage that tested Shotokan karate in the ring, we cultivate discipline, judgment, and the inner foundation of those entrusted with legacy.
Discover the Program →From Gichin Funakoshi (Dainippon Karatedo Kenyukai, 1930) to all derivative schools. Yoshin-kan stands at the bottom-right, the orange real-combat lineage ― the modern inheritor of fullcontact Shotokan karate.
Our program rests on three pillars that distinguish it from sport karate, fitness training, or technique collection. These are what make Otome-ryū a practice for principals, not participants.
All training is conducted privately or in small groups, by appointment, with full confidentiality. Sessions take place at our honbu (headquarters) or, by arrangement, at locations of your choice ― including residences, family offices, and international engagements.
There is no fixed curriculum. Each program is designed in dialogue with the student, considering position, purpose, body, time, and the responsibilities you carry. What is transmitted, in what order, to what depth ― these are decided together with the master.
The Family Legacy Program serves founder families, owner families, and family offices ― training that combines Japanese budo discipline with succession, responsibility, and the inner preparation of those who will carry the family forward.
Funakoshi's transmission → Okano-ha → Jigenkai → Nozaki Kaikan → Yoshin-kan

The program is designed for adults in positions of responsibility ― those who, by their role, must cultivate their own foundation, judgment, and inner discipline.
